SUPER NANNY GOAT PINOT NOIR 2017
The 2015 Super Nanny Pinot Noir has a complex and seductive nose, showing ever changing layers of Black Doris plums, bramble, sweet baking spice, dark chocolate, coffee, liqourice and an ethereal floral lift. The palate is rich upon entry, flowing on to a beautifully poised platform of dark berry fruits, dried herbs, damp earth and spice before a blanket of fine velverty tannins usher you towards a bright and persistent finish.
COLDSTREAM HILLS RESERVE PINOT NOIR 2017
Coldstream Hills Reserve Pinot Noir 2013 begins in the vineyard, invariably anchored on the low yielding Amphitheatre A Block – the steep north facing slope planted below the winery in 1985.Sourced from handpicked fruit from the Coldstream Hills Estate Blocks, the fruit was fermented traditionally in small three tonne open fermenters. Whole bunches were used in the fermenters to add further complexity and structure. A higher percentage of new French oak, longer time in barrel and selecting the best grapes places the emphasis on structure. The wine, whilst approachable at a relatively young age, has the ability to mature for at least ten years. Colour Medium cherry red Nose Ripe, powerful and brooding, the bouquet displays vibrant characters of dark cherry and plum. Savoury notes with underlying stalk, earthy mineral notes and spice. French oak supports the wine adding further layers of complexity. Palate The wine has great presence, texture and length with vibrant dark cherry and plum characters dominating. Savouriness and spice are complemented with underlying mineral, spice and supportive French oak. The palate is long and finishes with powdery, yet persistent tannins.
FARRSIDE BY FARR PINOT NOIR 2015
Each vintage of Farrside pinot noir exhibits more masculinity, structure and savoury components, while deep meaty, spicy and mineral flavours also continue to evolve. A balanced array of red and black fruits, Farrside pinot noir is fresh and edgy with bucket loads of character. This is a firm yet delicate wine with a long-textured finish.
